The Cochise 85 W is the entry point for the women's Cochise series, made for intermediate female skiers who want the versatility that comes with a walk mode. The T-Ride walk mechanism offers a wide 50º range of motion for easy walking through the parking lot, around the lodge or hiking up to a peak, but then securely locks into place for downhill performance. Grip Walk soles aid in walkability and offer extra grip. The women's anatomical N.F.S.. liner offers the ultimate in fit and comfort while Quick Instep makes it easy to get the boots on and off. - C.A.S. SHELL: The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.
- T-RIDE HIGH PERFORMANCE WALKING SYSTEM: The T-Ride system is fully integrated into the boot design. It’s a solid cuff-to-shell connection which delivers the perfect combination between downhill performance and uphill hiking ability.
- FREE MOVE: The new hinge point allows frictionless hiking, so you can hike more with less energy.
- ASYMMETRIC POWER TRANSMISSION: The revolutionary asymmetrical concept is based on a different thickness of the shell and liner structures. The inside of the shell is slightly thicker and stiffer and the outside of the shell is thinner and more flexible.
- QUICK INSTEP: Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
