PrAna’s been around since 1992 and focuses on making sustainable clothing that reduces the impact on our environment.  Sounds like a great cause, doesn’t it?

What is sustainable clothing? It’s clothing that respects the planet and its people.  Its clothing made with organic cotton instead of rayon, its clothing that uses fabrics from recycled wool or responsible down which helps reduce the amount of used clothing in our landfills.  Its clothing that’s fair trade certified which helps bridge the gap between a living wage and minimum wage – it means safe working conditions, no child or forced labor, providing workers with maternity leave or work provided daycares. 

PrAna also has partnered with bluesign, a solution provider that independently verifies and traces each textile’s path along the manufacturing process.  Bluesign approved apparel ensure that the clothing you wear is tested and sustainably produced throughout all the steps in the manufacturing process, from raw materials to the finished product.  Bluesign helps keep our oceans and skies free from harmful chemicals.  Thank you PrAna for caring so much about our environment!
