The North Face Thermoball technology was created through partnership with Primaloft, Inc in order to solve the problem of sacrificing either weight and comfort or moisture performance when choosing between goose down and synthetic insulation. What they developed was a synthetic material that maintained its insulating power in wet conditions while mimicking goose down in both weight and compressibility. Using this new insulation in the Etip glove will keep your hands warm even if they get wet.
