The North Face Apex

The North Face Apex Series uses fabric that is tightly woven to create wind resistant, abrasion-phobic apparel that will withstand wear from pack straps. The soft-brushed material is comfortable against the skin and easily wearable with shirts with short or no sleeves while the flexible fabric allows for high mobility during active pursuits.  A DWR coating provides water resistance against mist and light rain making the North Face Apex jacket adventure ready.

Three separate levels of North Face Apex technology specializes to the severity of weather and intensity of your aerobic activity. Apex Aerobic is designed for intense activity and provides the most breathability but compromises with low wind and water resistance. Apex Universal is the most versatile with a medium level of breathability and wind/ water resistance. Apex Climate Block, which you will find in the North Face Apex Bionic jacket,  is the least breathable but is 100% windproof and virtually waterproof.
