Most styles are made with Marmot M2 fabric which provides a nice balance between wind and waterproof protection and breathability for medium activity levels but if the weather turns foul, the Marmot Zion jacket with M1 level fabric keeps torrential rain and gusts at bay. The Marmot Zion jacket also has Polartec Neoshell along with taped seams and a storm hood to keep the weather out while pit zips ventilate excess body heat.
