Flowlow got its start when co-founders Greg Steen and Dan Abrams, both Colorado natives and friends since college, couldn't find a pair of ski pants that held up in the backcountry. Their gear was either built from mountaineering or was made for ski resorts. Rather than picking a lightweight and breathable pant that lacked style, or a stylish pant that fell apart after a season, they asked themselves why ski clothes couldn't do it all.
At the time, both Greg and Dan fancied themselves respectable telemark skiers. A French girl on the mountain noticed them and seemed to agree, yelling, "You don't ski fast -- fly low." And so, Flylow was officially born.
They've been making quality gear since 2005, with the only difference being that their brand has grown. Now spread across Denver, Jackson, and Lake Tahoe, they continue to build award-winning men's and women's outerwear, clothing, and accessories for everyone's favorite mountain pursuits all year round.
