According to Dalbello, "Althougth Dalbello began producing ski boots in 1974, founders Alessandro and Giovanna Dal Bello perfected their trade as ski boot building "artisans" at the Henke ski boot factory in Switzerland in the early 1960's." With every decade, Dalbello had more accomplishments under its belt: breakthrough technologies in the 70's, breaking into the racing market in the 80's, international markets in the 90's, Dalbello's Rider Development Program (RDP) in the 00's. By 2014, Dalbello sold 13 million pairs of ski boots.
