The original Dakine Heli Pro pack was designed in 1986 for a snowboarder who needed a backpack for his heli trips in Alaska. Over the last 30 year, the Dakine Heli Pro backpack series has remained the most iconic Dakine backpack with all the features needed to conquer obstacles from the town to the backcountry. Each Dakine Heli Pro pack has both vertical carry snowboard straps and diagonal carry ski straps to easily load your edges, no matter what your preference is for the ride down.  An internal hydration pocket doubles as an unpadded lap top sleeve when you are headed to class while fleece lined goggle pockets work just as well for sunglasses. A roomy main compartment is great for stowing sandwiches, books or avalanche gear while the organizational front pocket keeps all your smaller items together.
